My story

BiadglignBiadglign was born in Tigray region, North Ethiopia in 1981.  During the famine he was found by aid  workers lying on his mothers dead body suckling her breast. The aid workers noticed a vulture feeding on his mother's body and when Biadglign moved the vulture pecked at his face. The scar is still visible today. He was then taken to a temporary feeding shelter until he was admitted to one of  JeCCDO’s orphanages in 1985.  He received intensive care by JeCCDO staff helping him recover from his wound and serious illness which caused by starvation. He stayed with JeCCDO until 2000 when he became self reliant through vocational skill training in printing.. Biadglign is currently working as a unit head of a private printing enterprise in Addis Ababa. He is preparing for his marriage that will take place in the near future. Biadglign does not still know his specific place of birth and as a result he has no  family contact. JeCCDO are helping him to continue his search.
